There are ICW’s featured techniques. Master Teon Bynum has blended and enriched different martial arts styles into a complete discipline involving self-defense, Tae Kwon Doe, stand up techniques, Bynum’s jiujitsu, and the K1 Fighting System.
Tae Kwon Do/Karate:
An enriched program involving techniques from Seoul Korea and Japan, including physical fitness, mental sharpness, and martial skill building. We train traditional styles involving hand and foot techniques, blocks, stances, forms, weapon fundamentals and self-defense.
K1 Kickboxing:
This is a great body conditioner which also builds character and resistance. The K1 system is based on western boxing, Asian-style kicking and modern floor movement. We teach all the basics – punching drills, footwork, use of knees and elbows, fitness and conditioning. All the great benefits of boxing combined with kicks and strikes. This is one of the world’s best stand-up fighting systems.
Bynum’s Grappling System:
This is a legendary art from Japan, which we teach in combination with street tactics and traditional joint locks and submission holds. This is great for self-defense and has virtually unlimited moves and scenarios. We teach you on all the basics – take downs, holds and locks, strikes, and mental control.
